Northeast
Bordered to the north by the mighty Columbia River (and the state of Washington), the array of Northeast neighborhoods range from working class locales like that of King and Humboldt, to the affluent communities of Alameda, Irvington and Laurelhurst. Most neighborhoods are filled with homes built in the first half of the century. New Single or mult-family, high density and mixed use commercial properties are found throughout the NE as developers tear down old structures and replace with new. Northeast Portland is home to The Portland Convention Center, The Rose Garden and The Lloyd Center Mall.
