Southeast
Southeast Portland begins along the east side of the Willamette. The southeast industrial area is what greets you as you cross the river. Early residents tended to be blue color workers as the wealthier Portlander’s tended to opt for the West Hills. As the neighborhoods are redeveloping Southeast is becoming a desirable location for professionals who want to be part of the city life.

The terrain is primarily flat with the exception of Mt.Tabor . Southeast Portland has several distinct neighborhoods, each having its own style, architectural feel and demographic base.
