Beaverton, Oregon’s 5th largest city is just under 17 square miles in size and is situated just seven miles up and over the west hills of Portland.  It is a community that is rich with business as well as residential neighborhoods. The diverse number of businesses in Beaverton creates a significant employment base. Some of the more well known employers include Nike’s World Headquarters, Tektronix and Reser’s Fine Foods. It is a city of a wide range of neighborhoods from starter homes and condominium developments to high end neighborhoods in the hilly areas. Homebuyers looking in just about any price category can find a suitable property here. Home styles are fairly specific to the age and neighborhoods. For example, In Murray Hill, considered an affluent Beaverton neighborhood, homes are traditional and in the neighborhoods just off Highways 26 and 217 are cottages and ranches.
